In reply to Know It's not Popular But Upping The Luvox, posted by Phillipa on April 19, 2007, at 21:07:55
Who cares if it's popular if it works. As I've said before this (PB) is no popularity contest. If it were, none of us would be popular since we have so many issues as we have told our sad and troubled stories over and over again. I just want the depression to go away and live a "normal" life, far away from PB land.
I never cared about popularity as so many did when younger, I even see it here sometimes. I just never gave that too much thought, I was more wrapped up in not feeling good and not understanding why.
Feeling better though on Emsam and Abilify, no akathesia at 5 mg, refuse to go higher than 5 although I did agree to try 7.5 for a week to experiment.
You just increase that Luvox, Phillipa, and don't think about anything except how you are doing. The bottom line is your life and future depend on feeling better. Popularity is a moot point.
Your bud, SG

Good luck Phillipa. Hope it works! And if it's popular for you, that's all that matters.

It doesn't matter if Luvox is the most popular med being used today, what matters is that it works for you. I think there was another person who used to post here - Chemist - who had used Luvox for quite some time and did well on it. The only person a med has to be popular with is the person using it. That's all that matters.
Good luck, Phillipa. I hope as you continue to increase the dose of Luvox, you start to experience some relief. You deserve it.
Take care.

Yes I heard chemist was a luvox lover. I did google some of threads but couldn't find the ones where he really discussed his experiences on luvox he has a lot of threads. And I miss chemist. Wish he'd come back. Love Phillipa

Hey Phillipa, we spoke before. Luvox did wonders a few years ago for my anxiety and obsessive thinking. I hope it helps you, too.
This is the end of the thread.
