Does anyone know about caffeine pills?

Posted by UgottaHaveHope on April 9, 2007, at 23:40:20

I am no longer stoned on Nardil but still have major fatigue. The only thing that seems to help is Coke, but I dont want all the sugar and calories. Anyone have any ideas?

What about caffeine pills or something else OTC?

Thanks, Michael

i used to take them to study and stay awake.

NoDoz is the main brand, you can find that at almost any store, they usally come in 200mg tablets dont take more than 1.

Its an ok, better than coke, it defintly gives you a kick. But it can be dsyphoric.

Excess caffeine can be very dangerous with Nardil. Also, caffeine often increases anxiety.

Dude, I've told you, PROVIGIL is the way to go. It's worked miracles for my fatigue.

I'm taking 200 MG once in the morning. I've found that the effects last for about 6 hours, so I take another 200 MG in the afternoon.

It's worth noting that many people only need 100 MG for great benefits, so you should start at that and increase if necessary.

Many convinience stores sell caffine pills. Also sugarfree mints like Penguns have caffine supplements, or you could do what I do and drink diet Mountain Dew. I'll bet the pharmacy sells caffine pills. Or online at ebay, etc.

I would think it is probably ok. Coffee actually contains both caffine and substances (beta carbolines) which inhibit MAO. So theoretically combining an MAOI and caffiene won't kill you.

I suppose you could also try low doses of nicotine gum, but nicotine carries more health risks.

Using a pill cutter, you can divide the 200mg pills in half. 200mg is a rather high dose.
