I have been so anxious, i cant describe it.
Its like i freeze. Xanax sometimes will let up some of it but not all. I take 1mg for anxiety, 2mg for panic attacks. Which actaully rarely happen. But i feel one coming on.
Im so sorry for being this way.
I like paralized.

It's not your fault, these feelings just sometimes don't make sense. I'm sorry for your pain.

Matt, I wish I could say something to help.
Maybe a longer-acting benzo like Klonopin or Valium would be better for you. Perhaps not and this won't fix all your problems but the constant up and down of Xanax can contribute to a lot of what you describe.
I feel for you man.

I hate this feeling. I hate it when people just tell me to relax, as if I could just make the decision to relax and stop the adrenaline, the fist clenching, the jaw grinding. God ... if only I could JUST RELAX.
People here on this board know that it isn't your fault. From what I can tell, most of us here have moderate to severe mental illness. We understand what you are feeling right now.
All I can reccomend is to remember that this feeling will pass somehow, someway. Hang in there.

Yeah you are me about 2 years ago. It took 14mg klonopin daily to get rid of it (although not completely)....finally I'm coming down off that. I went up to 1200mg Lithium and I've noticed coming off that huge dose of klonopin my anxiety has stayed the same (or lack therof). Really shows you how much Lithium can do, and how differently it can act for different people. For me, it's helping anxiety. It took me a full cycle at maximum dosage through every benzo until I found only 14mg of the klonopin would work, and I'm now down to 4, going down 1mg every 2-3 weeks, no increase in anxiety whatsoever. Amazing. Have you tried lithium?

effexor for anxiety . get off the benzo or you will have to increase forever. sometimes in a pinch for major panic but bezo's are a crutch. you hear horror stories about effexor but it works .
