Anyone take Wellbutrin and Abilify? Do they counter or cancel each other out?
I like the concentration and focus I get from Wellbutrin. And, I can't seem to find a mood stabilizer that acts as good as Abilify.
I can't take Lamictil either.
Any thoughts? Is this a bad mix?

I just did a short trial of Abilify with Wellbutrin, so it's probably fine. It didn't work out for me, so we dropped the Abilify, but I'm still glad I tried it.
What does your doctor say?

Yes! I have been through everything. Since it seems like the doctors and their nurses just throw different things at you, I decided to just try some things out and see if they work. Ugh!

> What does your doctor say?I decided to just try it. I'm only taking 150mg of Wellbutrin. I took 2.5mg. of Abilify last night (it helps me sleep really good). I don't see the nurse until Tuesday. I should know by then if I have any issues. So far, I think I will like it.
Wellbutrin at smalled doses gives me great concentration and actually relaxes me a bit. I once tried 300mg of Well, and I slept all weekend long!
If I combine Well with an ssri I get hyper.
I can't do SSRIs anymore.

Thats what I'm taking right now. The stimulant effects add together, so watch out for that.
