Hey. Just got back from another trip to the psych ward (manic episode again). They fiddled w/ my drug combo which was Remeron + Lithium + Effexor.
For the past four days or so I've been on Prozac + Remeron + Lithium + Trilafon. I feel pretty good and optimistic at the moment but I just got back to my families place. Was wondering if anyone has used Remeron and Prozac together? Did they work well in combination? The trilafon is completely new to me but from what I've researched it seems to be similar to Zyprexa which I took a few years back.
Thanks for any discussion.
Cheers,
-Jason

In reply to Prozac + Remeron? (Re: Anyone tried), posted by JayBTV on February 19, 2007, at 16:52:05
Remeron was added to my prozac for about a year. It was a while ago and I can't remember much about it except that remeron did help with the prozac insomnia I had. I do remember that each morning I had the classic remeron hangover. In terms of making the prozac work better I don't think it did. Prozac had me undepressed, but I was very blah and lacking in pleasure and motivation. Remeron did nothing to improve that. It was mainly a sleep med and didn't make a difference on mood. Mileage varies though. Some people love remeron. Combining it with ssris or effexor is sometimes big guns, but wasn't for me.
This is the end of the thread.
