Nardil --- Will take longer for initial response. However seems to have a more solid effect, also is more calming for most people since it touches more sedative properties than parnate.
Common side effects are weight gain, and sexual dsyfunction.
Parnate --- usualy has a quick initial stimulant response, mostly in 48 hrs, however over time this will lesson. It still however is at times very activating and depending on the person can be to stimulating,HOWEVER a benzo, usualy klonopin will take care of this.
Common side effects are over stimulative problems, possable acne outbreaks, more severe insomnia, however both will likly cause insomnia and u can expect to at some point need a sleep aid.
Both parnate and nardil would be good choices with KLONOPIN,personaly i cant accept nardils sexual problems at my age.

Just depends on the person. For me, Parnate is clearly superior.

Monte,I just started parnate after a tough time (mostly cognitively) with nardil.
Because anxiety is a big problem for me, my doc started me on 10 mgs, then 20, and maybe next week, 30.May I ask:
Is GAD an issue for you?
What dose of parnate are you taking?
When did you begin to see results (by this I mean time frame and dosage). Many thanks,
Diane
