What are the differences between the 2? Also how does the dosage compare between the 2? Is .5 roughly the same for both meds? I've had Klonopin before but have never had Ativan.

As you know I've taken all the benzos. Klonopin tended to depress me and ativan was smoother and I don't feel it depressed me. Klonopin is stronger and longer acting. Bob has an equivalency chart on the strenght of benzos. At one time I took 4-6mg of ativan a day with luvox. No I wasn't tired. Love Phillipa ps go with the ativan I'm thinking of asking for that this week at my pdocs that I'm still seeing while inbetween.
