I've just been prescribed dexedrine, and I don't really know a whole lot about it. I know it's a short lived stimulant, and I'm using for my ADD. It's the first stimiulant I will have tried. What should I expect?

If you don't abuse it I'd imagine a little calming and some help concentrating. If you do abuse it you can expect tolerance and likely addiction (yep, been there).
Just respect the medication and you should be fine.
