Taking a dose of 75 mls and caped at that by your doc. Does that mean your depression is not that critical or something that is just systomatic. Or does it mean you are responding well on a low dose?

It probably means you're responding well to a lower dose. Many people do respond to the lower doses, and the rule is to prescribe the least amount of any medication to do the trick.
If it's working for you at a low dose, congratulations! And, if it's not working, talk to your doctor about whether to raise the dose or not.
I hope that helps.
