I have to read a big passage in English for my professor. I cant, well i took a xanax, and im afriad i wont rerember it. I cant say that i will make myself rerember. I talked to my pharmaist and he said all benzo's effect the way you learn.
Is this true?

That's not my experience-I can't memorize as much when I'm anxious, but I've never thought Xanax was making me dumb(er). Quite the opposite.

I agree with Bassman--it is tradeoff between anxiety and possibly (and I stress possibly) some short term memory impairment with the use of a benzo. My concentration is much better with a low dose of klonopin that with moderate or higher anxiety. It may well depend on the dose and length of use--do not, I repeat do not, use any alcohol with the Benzo if you are worried about short term memory impairment,

If you are having significant memory problems then maybe you need to take less xanax.
