Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with how long it would take for a dosage increase of Lexapro to kick in. I was taking 10 mg for about a year and a half, but my depression came back and so I just increased it to 20 mg, and I was wondering how long until it would start to work. If it doesn't work, they're thinking about adding Wellbutrin - does anyone have any experience with that either?sunnydays

I had the same thing happen and the 20 mg made a huge difference in just a week or two. Wellbutrin is helpful if you don't have much anxiety...or if it is at a low ( like 150 mg) dose. Best of luck!:>}

Thanks, I hope it works soon (although I realize that just starting the higher dose today, it can't be magic). I have had problems with anxiety in the past, although it isn't so present right now, but could Wellbutrin bring it back?

Absolutely-it's in the stimulant family.
This is the end of the thread.
