Posted by rjlockhart on August 21, 2006, at 19:41:06

I listened to some worship songs that have totally gotten me out of the pit that i was in.

The Pretenders, Nine inch nails, worship songs.

Music can have a profound impact on the mind and mood. For some people with epilepsy, music can even lessen the number of seizures they have.

Even playing classical or soothing music to a baby in the womb is said to help the baby. Love Phillipa

Music is a GREAT distraction to keep mind off you

Music absolutely can have a very positive effect on mood. I listen to worship music also - I play the "Casting Crowns" CD over and over some days. And it really helps me. You are on the right track there, IMO.
