Nardil - Side Effects, How long to vanish

Posted by cerebus on May 28, 2006, at 11:51:31

Started Nardil 4 days ago and have been experiencing GI side effects. Especially diarrhea right after I eat something. Has anyone ever experienced this phonemnia? Did it eventually resolve itself or should I just jump ship? Please help - Any Nardil users out there. Please explain any pre side effects you encountered when first taking this medication. Also this is the new formulation; whatever that means.

Just curious, have you been taking it with milk? Are you sure it is the Nardil? If you are sure it is then try to take it after a meal and not on an empty stomach. Or you could try taking some pepto bismol (stuff like zantac etc. probably wouldn't help) that will coat your stomach. It shouldn't last either way.

Nardil does sometimes cause diarrhea but it's not normally severe. I wouldn't worry about it.
