How many of you guys take atypical neuroleptics (antipsychotics) with a mood stabilizer?
Would a low-dose of an atypical be a better antimanic than lithium or valproate?
Does anyone use Risperdal as their add-on to their mood stabilizer?

I take Geodon along with Lamictal. Emotionally it is GREAT! Physically I have to deal with some nervey evenings and increased anxiety (that I probably should take something for just haven''t figured out what yet)

I have been taking Lithium with an AP for over a year. Abilify didn't agree, but Seroquel seems to. I've never tried only an AP, but I have three BP friends who only take an AP and are pretty stable.
