Just a quick note to say that I nearly died this past week due to thrombocytopenia. I am off Parnate and hope to get on Ensam asap. I look like hell and feel like death and in a way, wish I was.

Gosh. How much were you taking and for how long?

Good luck. The patch seems to be a better antidepressant than the oral preparation.

So your docs feel that the blood issue is caused by the Parnate?

thrombocytopenia reduced platelets in the blood the clotting mechanism. Can be caused by reduced production or a loss. JH I didn't know Parnate cause this? Love Phillipa
