med use registry?

Posted by pseudoname on February 22, 2006, at 21:50:47

What if Dr Bob made a psych-med use registry? Where any Babbler could enter what meds she's been on, how long, what dose, what side effects, and (most important) Did-it-work. It wouldn't be a scientific survey, but I'd love to see those statistics for those who'd be willing to answer.

It could list all the "successful" drugs in order of popularity, or compare the # of failures on parnate to successes on parnate.

It could keep track of the data for each username but not display the actual names.

"Average failed trials: 7.3 per respondent."
"10% of respondents say they are currently on an effective antidepressant."

It is a good idea. I think that it would have to be done on the YAHOO group because you can do polls there. Someone would have to take the time to input all the meds. We could go by SLS' list.
