i just recently switched from paxil cr to effexor xr,, at first it seemed pretty good, but the 3rd wek I started feeling extreme hostility and agitation. I am really nausiated everyday as well. And finally the worst side effect is the strange sensations that make my body feel tingling and sometimes numb...anyone else relate to any of these? thanks for reading !! :)

Yes I did. It made me very irritable on the inside. Medications that affect norepinephrine can affect people this way.

I was the opposite, I ripped the house apart after 4 days on aropax (paxil) I'm quite a placid person but I just has this uncontrollable rage, so I threw them out. That was about 9 years ago. Re the effexor side effects, there are many and they are varied. I experienced the numb tingles and many other things, good luck Paul

One time when I was on Paxil, I ripped the toilet seat off and threw it out of the bathroom window. Can't really blame the Paxil though, I was going through a bad patch!
