I often wonder about mixing medications and supplements and the benifits one may get. Yet on the downside, what if taking a supplement is actually hindedring your medication, even though its touted to boost your mood or such.
I take about 10 supplements. 3 of them increase dopamine and Norepinephrine, (tyrosine, DL-Phenylalanine, and PEA) 2 suppplemnts increase natural serotonin (5htp and SAME) Actually SamE increased dopamine also.
I also take CDP-Choline, DMAE, omega fish oil, magnesium , b-complex 100, vinpocetine, Phenibut, Rhodiola and maybe 2-3 others. Now any opinons on this supplement regiment, Fully aware of each supplements effects (WHICH ARE FROM WHAT NATURAL RESEACH BOOKS CLAIM), though im taking 3 medications. Zoloft (25mg) adderall 25mg 2-3 x day, and suboxone 4mg day.
Someitmes I feel a bit overactivated, or sometimes no effect, meaning I believe that my brain is just to downregulated so to say from the drugs and supplements have no effect.
Anyone ever have good results from combos
