My doctor gave me my first B-12 shot today; wants me to give myself three per week (1,000 mcg's each).
Anyway, it's for my fibromyalgia and lupus ( I think it's more for the fatigue and foggy head related to them)...
In reading a bit up on it online, it seems like some people/doctor's think B-12 can treat depression and even bipolar.
How weird would it be if this began to lift my depression/anxiety/mood funk that I've had for a year now.
I'll stick myself in the butt for a few weeks and then get back to you guys to let ya know if it works.
*insert needle and hear me scream*

b12 in the blood doesnt reflect brain b12, and also they need to do 2 specialized tests for b12, i forgot the name but one is called like methologlobulin or something similar.

also cyanocoblamin is the common b12 used.it is CYANIDE attached to B12. its cheap and painless when injected which is why its used. You need to use hydroxy (water) or methyl (- b12 )

cyanocoblamin is what they have given me.
Is it not as effective?
This is my 3rd shot and so far... nothing.
Maybe it takes longer to feel it or something. I don't know.
This is the end of the thread.
