I am on Effexor 225mg for a long time almost 3 1/2 years, it seems I get blurred vision, foggy feeling, slow reactions with my limbs when using hands and using legs, caffiene helps temporarily give me energy. My problem is that I think of doing something then I decide to move my arm or my legs and I feel so lazy like everything is in slow motion all the time.

A lot of posters eliminate the tired feeling foggy brain with wellbutrin xl. Google the combo and you'll find the posts. Fondly, Phillipa

It could be glutamate excitotoxcity somewhere in your brain. Does anti seizure meds help, like Xanax or Klonopin or Neurontin? If so , then the above situation may be likely.

Hi.
My knee-jerk reaction to reading your post was that you are actually experiencing the symptoms of the depressive disorder itself. You might want to try increasing the dosage of Effexor to a minimum of 300mg.
