hi.
just wanted to post my response to effexor. i started on 75mg a day and have since been increased to 150mg and now 225mg. i am having issues sleeping, in that i have problems getting to sleep at night, and then am very lethargic and dozy during the day. my libido has all but disappeared which is disappointing for my boyfriend! thankfully i have not experienced any nausea, anorexia or constipation so far. generally speaking the meds take the edge off my depression. i still have very crap days but occasionally get a good one, which makes it worthwhile. my doctors are going to reconsider my medications in the next couple of weeks or so if my sleep patterns do not improve. best of luck to everyone out there who is dealing with this stuff. i wouldnt wish severe depression on my worst enemy.
