I'm experiencing hypomania on Wellbutrin (yes, there's a history of mania) and have stopped taking it. On Monday I'll discuss mood stabilizers with my psych and would like some information from the good folks here. I took lithium for about a year but just couldn't tolerate it and then switched to 250 of Depakote, which I didn't much care for. I was on it for 9 years. Nothing for the past 2 years. Now I'm looking at going back on something for mood stabilization, possibly in combination with Wellbutrin. What's out there? What do you recommend? What should I watch out for?

Why do you want to start the wellbutrin again? Are you bipolar? Or using it for energy etc. Fondly, Phillipa

The wellbutrin was working well against the depression until the mania started.
