The doctor mentioned a trial of luvox. I am interested in the drug because it has a shorter half life than other SSRI's.
I was thinking that I could take it in the morning and then take periactin at night.
Maybe this would sort out some of the problems I have had with SSRI's and the sleep wake cycle.
Any thoughts ?

THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD PLAN
I SLEPT WELL ON LUVOX, IT ACTUALLY IS THE ONLY SSRI THAT RAISES MELATONIN SIGNIFICANTLY!!!
I WOULD HAVE STAYED ON IT, BUT I COULDN'T GET ENOUGH RELIEF FROM MY OCD, EVEN THOUGH IT IS SPECIFICALLY MARKETED FOR OCD!! BUT IT DOES HELP WITH SLEEP!! GOOD LUCK...JOHN oops, sorry, i'm shouting again, lol!!

John's right. Maybe that's what I should do up my luvox instead of nortriptaline. And John you make me laugh with those capitols! Fondly,Phillipa
