Hi,
I managed to go 10 weeks without medication. Then I got the flu and lost my appetite. I started to worry about not eating properly and bingo, right back into the constant worry cycle.
Now I worry about not eating and I feel nausea most of the time so I don't eat. The whole thing is stupid. Every meal is a challange that ends in me half finishing, usually at the point where I'm sweating and ready to throw up.
I guess I could start taking some Remeron again but I really hate to give in when I've worked so hard to resolve some of the issues that got me into this anxiety in the first place.
If you've been through this please let me know how you managed to get past it. I've been through this twice before and it usually lasts 6 weeks or so and I lose 25 pounds and get myself really wound up. Then the appetite slowly returns.
It would be nice to learn how to deal with this so it is not a big issue in the future. I don't have access to a therapist so this board is my primary source of help and inspiration.
Thanks !
GS

We seem to have the opposite problem. I make myself eat three meals and then I gain wt. And the meals aren't large. Fondly, Phillipa
