a doctor at the inpatient psych evaluation unit i am at right now is trying this with me. how much should i be taking of this in order to get an effect? i'm taking 0.375/day right now. i'm feeling pretty much just as lethargic, unmotivated, anhedonic, and dead as i always do, possibly even more so. could it just be focusing on the presynaptic dopamine autoreceptors right now? in which case this is bad, right? i don't want to get too theoretical here. my doctor says that he is very conservative with meds, so i am worried, but he also is showing signs that we shouldnt completely rule out ECT so maybe thats a positive sign.

He can't be that conservative if he's prescribing Mirapex. There is hope! Good luck finding the best dose :-)
