I was listening to music today. The music sped up and slowed down even though the tempo of the song was fixed. Any ideas??

If your mood changes suddenly as in ultra cycling..eg depression speeds thing up, hyper slows it down...or if you were falling asleep a little.
Suppose it depends how dramatic the switch was.
Can't really say for sure Linkage.Slinky

It was really psycadellic, almost like the speed was as fast as my mind wanted it to be. If I thought it was going fast then it sped up, and vise versa.

I get that quite frequently, usually at the same time my thoughts seem to modulate in speed also often in counter point rather than synchonisation to the music modulation. Its rather disorientating but kinda cool. I also get echoing and phasing effects and some times hear sounds that are not within the music atall. I do get regular auditory hallucinations, also visual and tactile. Whether those experiences falls into the realm of hallucination I couldnt say. I would probably label them 'auditory illusions' - they're not normal but they arent really that psychotic either.

Hi Ed!
> What dose of flupenthixol do you take these days?6mg of flupenthixol and 20mg of pericyazine. Definately the most sorted combo still, the pericyazine is really mellow, not like it sends me to sleep but _really_ chills me out. thioridazine never felt that way so I thinking there might be some synergy with the flupenthixol. Stopped the procyclidine now, dont seem to need it anymore, which is almost kinda annoying since I have tons left over lol (GP gave me enough to have five a day for 3 months).
