Hi,
I'm currently taking zyprexa and lamictal for bipolar depression.. i used to get hypomanic on lamictal but now, with the zyprexa, im just getting very agitated and mean... anyone experience something similar?

Lamictal made me hypomanic as well. Except i didnt know it at the time. When i added trileptal i was mean for a short period of time, even still a little. I wonder if its just combining lamictal with another drug, that causes the aggression in us to come out for a short period. maybe you should give it some time and see....

hey w,
Lamictal also me hypomanic first time i took it.. now i have combined with zyprexa and its making me really irritable and agitated.. its weird, before it was a happy feeling, now its a negative one

Yes, it made me very aggresvie and jumpy. I got frustrated all the time and was constantly snapping at people.

I tried lam. twice and had the exact experiences as you; happy first then agitated. The first time was comboed with Depakote, the second time with Trilept.

didn't really make me aggresive, but very irritable, I did feel like punching a wall on occasions but never agression aimed at people, I was also very happy and anxious at the same time. weird!!
