Hi
My first DX was major depression. Somehow that changed to bipolar type 2. My reactions were mainly to med (which is really bipolar type 3).
But since I stopped my Advair all my irritability is gone and I am feeling very balanced. Maybe I will be able to go off the Trileptal. Maybe it's been the Advair causing the problems all these years. I do believe I suffer from depression because that started way before any corticosteroid asthma med.
This is good news! The least amount of meds I can be on the better!
I am finally feeling a positive effect from the Parnate as well. Yup, things are looking up.

Hey Sweetie,
You very well might be a Bipolar 3, but you are just starting to feel a bit better. Let's not rock the boat by going off the Trileptal just yet!
Hugs,

I would never start a med (Parnate) and go off one at the same time. Against my religion. So don't worry.Maxime

Bipolar 3 is when you have a hypomanic episode from medication ONLY which has always been the case for me. All the SSRIs except for Prozac and Effexor. But I was on Flovent then so it could have been that.
Phillipa you have no idea how much better I feel. My mood isn't all the way up, but the physical difference with my body is unbelievable. No more aches in my joints and no more muscle soreness. The fatigue is still really bad. And here I was thinking my endocrinologist was to blame. That he wasn't doing the right tests. My irritability is GONE. My mood has improved enough that my friends and mom have noticed.

Maxime, Thanks for answering my question again. I'll try and remember it but who knows? And thanks for the continual support. Saturday is almost here and then maybe it will go away. If you know what I mean. Thanks for the Babblemail. Fondly, Phillipa
