10 mgs daily. Works GREAT for me. Better than I expected. First few weeks of startup can be a bit rough as is the case for ANY med taken ANYbody who is proned to toxic anxiety.

Felt better at the two week mark and it continues to improve - I'm in week seven.

There are med successes, that fact can get lost on boards such as this.

Good Luck,
Glydin

Lexapro was great for my GAD! I took 10mg too. The first little while was brutal though. I actually had increased anxiety for a while. I was unsure about whether it would work but it did...and VERY well. I had to stop due to weight gain and lack of sex drive but if things get bad, I'm going back to it for sure :) I wish you all the best!

It's good to hear success stories. I guess I didn't stick with any of them long enough. The anxiety made me go off of them. Fondly, Phillipa
