I saw Dr CattleProd today, and agreed to try the 60mg Cymbalta again, see if it helps more now that the Wellbutrin XL is up to 300. I'm not entirely sure how hopeful I am, but it's certainly worth a try, and a better idea than just switching to something else. We're going to try it until the end of the month, and if I'm not doing substantially better, we'll try switching to Luvox.
So, I wanna know -- I have read the Official Story, but I want to know the truth from the horse's mouth, as it were. If you have taken Luvox, what was your experience with it? And did it do that whole SSRI constipation/weight gain/sedation/etc? What was your experience?
Thanks!

Racer, it is the only AD I ever that caused absolutely no side effects and that I could tolerate up to 250mg. Then the stupid pdoc stopped it cause he wanted me in a Celexa trial and that med didn't work. When i tried luvox again I could only tolerate up to l2.5mg. But I know it helped with anxiety and OCD. And no wt gain for me. I thought you were taking 25mg of luvox? Fondly, Phillipa

Horse here.
I took Luvox and it was good for depression it pooped out eventually like every other med has. I had extreme sedation with it. But I know others that don't. It didn't cause any weight gain.
Hope this helps.

I take Luvox along with Wellbutrin and aside from some low blood pressure/dizziness on occasion, I've not had any side effects to speak of. I have a $60 copay on it since it is an upper tier drug, but it is worth it to have normalcy in my life.
