hi. pdoc wants me to start topamax today at 50mg. is that typical? thanks.

I've heard of that, and I would guess it's probably fine. My doc gave me a starter pack when I tried it, which has you start at 25mg for a few days, then go to 50 mg, with you ending up at 100 in a week or so.

I started at 50mg and so did my daughter. We were fine with that dosage. -L
