ok, ok. im dumping as im not feeling well this afternoon. ill stay with med option. that's right. booze and pot are bad. yessiree bob. yep. stay with the pharmaceuticals. ok.

Yeh..I hear you.
At least I could function on booze..the pot for me thou a no no.
Do whatever it takes to at least get some comfort and enjoyment..I don't get any of them.
Short sweet life or years of misery trying to find the bearable pharma coctail.
Sorry folks...I just know how he/she feels.

Are you still feeling pretty bad from the Tegretol then I take it?
I got the Trileptal at home now and am going to start it in a couple of days.
I just feel like sh*t from the Tegretol, the side effects did where off a little but i'm hoping the Trileptal will be better.

As for myself..I had a good few days but now I'm so fatigued finding it harder to get out of bed and itching like crazy generally uncomfortable in my own skin.
I think maybe it's the interaction between the tegretol and paroxetine..I'm coming off the paroxetine and see what happens.

I hope your feel better coming off of the paroxetine, at least thats one less chemaical in your body if you know what I mean.
Hows things with the neurontin?...I asked for that but couldn't get it. Although i'm feeling pretty ok I still got anxiety but i cant get anything for it, it seems.
I'll let you know how things go with the trileptal during next week, should be interesting to see the difference.
Im gonna buy some omega 3 fish oils too.
Hang in there, i'm sure your feel better soon : )

Actually if pot works for you i would stay on that. I used to smoke a lot of pot, but i haven't smoked much during the last 5 years because i get pretty bad short term memory with everyday use. I have to classify pot as the least damaging psychoactive drug i have ever used in my entire life and the list can be made long. Alcohol is really bad so stay off that.

Well I made the change to Trileptal on Saturday and am very pleased to say that it is by far a huge relief compared the Tegretol.
I noticed from the first dose that it was better. The effects are similar in some respects but it is far smoother on the mood, it doesnt hit me with drowsyness or make me over sleep like teg did. I dont feel as flat and feel more happy. Its not perfect but is so much of an improvement and far better than the Sodium Valproate, Lamotrigine and lithium that ive tried before.
If you still have problems with the teg I would highly recommend you try this stuff and would very much hope you gain the benefits I have found so far..
I hope the paroxetine withdrawal is going as good as can be expected and things are well.

Ps I have had one problem with the trileptal which is a pain in my back/kidneys which I have put a new post for, so that is the down side so far..
