Hello people!
I take 150mg Wellbutrin (IR) 2x day for depression, and I was taking 25mg Trazodone for sleep every night, sometimes as much as 37.5mg on a bad night. But I started dieting and my doc and I were worried it might be making it difficult to lose weight and so we decided to switch me to Seroquel for sleep instead. 25mg of Seroquel made me spacy the whole next day...so I've been taking 12.5.
The way it acts is much more mellow, it doesn't knock me out like Trazodone did, it's going to take some getting used to.But the problem is this: My boyfriend has commented that I've been a little off the last couple weeks (since I switched pills). A little more touchy, a bit more insecure, etc.
Could my body be reacting to the loss of such a small amount of Trazodone? Or is it that I'm not getting as good a quality sleep? (I don't feel more tired than usual, really.)
Should I tough it out and see if it gets better, or try adding back a little trazodone and maybe taper off this time instead of quitting it cold turkey? (I have plenty on hand, just thought the Seroquel would replace it so I didn't need to titrate.)
Ideas, thoughts, comments?
TIA!
