i am switching from lexapro to effexor. my doctor suggested the tapering process should be about 4 days long. i am on 40mg lexapro. does anyone have experience with this? i thought 4 days seemed a little short. any comments?

I think 4 days is too short for any medication taper but I have never taken that drug. If it were me I would lower slowly bit by bit every week till you are off. Of course becasue of dosing that may take only a week,and in that case I would take the pill alternating days- one day take it the next don't. Hope it goes alright.
