I spoke with a rep from Pfizer today and she advised that while Lyrica has been approved for sale in the US that it has NOT been released for distribution yet in the US.
Would appreciate anyone posting on this thread when they become aware of it specifically becoming available in US.
Thanks.

i guess, like some of the tricyclics (which i was given to counter pain due to shingles), it has similar general functions, which would mean it is also an anti-depressant.

Not sure about the AD effects, but definitely seems to have some strong anti-anxiety effects (according to some of the postings on both this site and also RemedyFind.com). Having some AD effects would also be nice!
My main concern right now is getting the word on when it becomes available in the US supply network. Can't understand why Pfizer hasn't released it yet.
