Hi Everyone,
I've read that once a therapeutic dose of Nardil has
been reached, one then scales back to a maintenance dose (<30mg).Has anyone tried this with success (or failure)?
thanks,
maddog

Failure for me.
I need to use the same dosage that produced the response in order to maintain it.
Infrequently, one might have to go to a slightly higher dosage (90mg) of Nardil for a week to achieve the desired MAO inhibition, and then back off (75mg). However, after a few months, it is unlikely that one can then move down to 30mg and maintain the response if they have a history of chronic or recurrent depression. I don't know for sure about how this would apply to anxiety disorders and OCD, but my guess is that it would.
Just an opinion. Not a fact.

You should be able to tell after a week or two
by the way you feel if it's too much reduce the
dose. I fluxuated between 45-60 mg . But , if you have the new Nardil I don't even know. It didn't work for me . best of luck joe
