I don't remember.
:-)
Yes. Cogentin (benztropine) is a heavy-duty anticholinergic drug. Much of the brain's memory function depends on the neurotranmitter acetylcholine. Blocking its receptors can affect people's memory adversely.
Take into consideration that depression itself can produce memory impairments that are horrendous. It does mine. That is no joke.
How long do you plan to be on Cogentin?

Why are you taking it? Usually, I believe, it is used with an antipsychotic to prevent TD, or if you have a reaction. Fondly, Phillipa

I was on it for Akathisia caused my antipsychotics. Ive read just the opposite in regard to TD. I have read that concurrent use of benztropine with an antipsychotic increases the likelyhood of getting TD.
