Hi,
As a regular lurker on psychobabble, I hope someone might be able to give me some advice.
I'm about to switch from prozac to remeron and wondered how much time I should leave between stopping the prozac and starting the remeron. My doctor has recommended 4 days so I suppose I should do that, but would rather take less time if possible. Would it be dangerous to do it over say 2 days? I'm probably going to switch in a week or so as don't really fancy changing medication over christmas...
(I'm taking 20 mg prozac and am moving to 15 mg remeron).
Thanks for any advice anyone has.

I stopped celexa and took remeron the same night. There was no interaction. The two are often combined.

I'm not a doctor but I think that 2 days would be ok.
