Anyone have increasing memory problems with Lamictal the longer you're on it?
I started off with great results but couldn't go past 150mg because of upper respiratory infections and immediate memory problems.
I dropped down to 100mg and it was working great for a while but it seems as time has gone by, I feel like I'm in a blur and have no mental activity at all. Long term memory is fine but short term is history. I thought Lamictal wasn't suppose to cause cognitive impairment?
The smallest of tasks seem physically and mentally monumental.
I don't know if I should drop it or keep it on board and try an activating antidepressant or even Concerta or Adderall XR? Any input would be appreciated.

I tried Lamictal at very low doses and it caused me cognitive impairment as you described. It it supposed to be 'stimulant' but I was not stimulated when I had to check thrice the lock of my motorbyke because I couldn't remember if I had closed it (and I'm not OCD !).
