Hi Mattias :-)

Subutex constricts the pupils.

Hi Matt,

Yes I did :-) Thank you for your reply!

Perhaps it will take a few more days for the restlessness to subside completely. When the concentration of mirtazapine in your blood has dropped you should feel more comfortable.

Do you speak Finnish, English and Swedish?

Ed.

Hi, Ed.

Yes, i believe so too. But i also suspect that sertraline has a part in it, but it should pass as well, when my body gets used to higher dosage.

Do you speak Finnish, English and Swedish?

Yes, but i speak swedish much better than finnish. :) Swedish is my mother language.

Best wishes,
Mattias

Hei Mattias,

Yes, sertraline can cause restlessness for some people. Do other SSRIs make you restless?

You are very good at English, better than most people in England! Does everyone speak Swedish on your island? Is it a very little island? I forgot what it was called, I need to look at a map.

Finnish looks complicated, lots of long words. I think it is a bit like Estonian, could you understand Estonian? Someone once told me that in Finnish you put small words together to make massive words. Don't know if that it true! There are also lots of double letter like kk nn etc. Minä en ymmärrä suomea. (I hope that means what it said it means.)

If Swedish is a bit like Danish and Norwegian, can you understand Norwegian and Danish?

Ed.

Hej Ed :)
> Yes, sertraline can cause restlessness for some people. Do other SSRIs make you restless?

No, they didn't.
> You are very good at English, better than most people in England! Does everyone speak Swedish on your island? Is it a very little island? I forgot what it was called, I need to look at a map.

Thank you! About 96% of the population here speaks swedish, the other 4% speaks finnish. Yes it's a small island, Åland as we spell it in swedish and Ahvenanmaa in finnish. We're about 25000 here. But it is a very living island, mainly because of all the ferry traffic.

It looks complicated because it's not related to scandinavian or western european languages. Estonian belongs to the same language group as finnish, but we don't understand each other, some words are similar.
A little finnish and swedish lesson,
Minun nimi on Mattias (fi)
pronounced in english:

Mitt namn är Mattias (se)
My name is Mattias

Yes, i understand Norwegian and Danish, Swedish is more closely related to Norwegian than Danish , though.

Kind regards, Med vänlig hälsning, Terveisin,
Mattias

PS. If this isn't OT, i don't know what is :)

Hi Mattias,

I thought Aland was one island, but there are trillions of islands! You have your own flag and your own Parliament and no military! Do you live in Mariehamn? Aland looks very close to Sweden on the map. Do you have to go on boats to get to the the different islands?

People must be very clever in Finland because they speak so many languages. Have you ever been to England? We don't even learn how to say 'Hello' in French until we are 11!

I think you won't have any major side effects from the sertraline if you haven't had a problems on high doses of other SSRIs. I really hope that it helps you feel better :-)

Kind regards, Med vänlig hälsning, Terveisin,
Ed.

Hi Ed,

I presume you've already visited www.aland.fi :)
Yes, i live in Mariehamn and we do have to go on boats to reach the largest islands, i believe the unofficial count is 10000 islands but i'm not sure.
Unfortunately i haven't been to England, maybe i will sometime.

>People must be very clever in Finland because they speak so many languages.

Well, you know, we finnish people only speak when we are seriously intoxicated with vodka and then we speak any language ;)
---
The really good thing about sertraline is that it doesn't make me impotent or unable/difficulty to reach orgasm, which has been the case with other SSRI's and TCA's. But it is a long wait, next appointment is january the 17th. Before that i will need to take a blood test and an ECG, probably because of the lithium. If i don't recover on the current regime.

Ha det bra,
Mattias

Hi Mattias,

Yes, that was the website I visited! I think you should come to England sometime. A girl who lives in the same block as me is from Finland (she's blonde of course!) She says the culture is very different here. Yes... vodka is good, I like vodka :-)

Do you have a girlfriend/wife? The sexual side effects of SSRIs are a lot more important if you do.

Ha det bra, (what does that mean?)
Ed.

My pupils dont change as much on Subutex as they do on pure opioid agonists like morphine. If i take a high dose they sometimes become pretty small. Never got pinpoint pupils from it though.

And about Finland! I went to Helsinki from Stockholm with Silja Line(ferry) on a SPA-trip with my girlfriend. I enjoyed the trip very much and it felt very weird speaking Swedish in Finland. So even though Swedish is my mother tongue i mostly spoke in English, because not all people speak Swedish. Like when i went to McDonalds i made the order in Swedish but she told me she didn't understand so i repeated in English and after that i kept to English at all times :)

Ha det bra! (Be Well!)
Reef
