Hello everyone,
I been taking 50 mg Nortriptyline daily (only morning) for three weeks or so. It helped my ADHD a little. Last 2 days I stopped taking it for no special reason. I feel down, no energy, no motivation and some sadness and apathy. Can it be a withdrawal thing?!
It might be that this has nothing to do with the nortriptyline. I had exam on monday and I been stressed lately so it might be post stress or something. I also feel something like this if I sleep 1 or 2 hours more in the morning after I wake up first time. This has happened today.
Can it possibly be withdrawal anyhow ?!
Thanks for you inputs!
Ted.

> Ted.Well, you don't seem to necessarily be suffering real withdrawal symptoms; it sounds more like you are experiencing the absence of the antidepressant effects of the nortriptyline. Withdrawal symptoms from antidepressants are typically more physical in nature and can cause psychological distress in themselves.
