I was on a SSRI (Zoloft) once and had a very bad reaction while on it early on. I stopped taking it, and, as you might have guessed, I went through major withdraw symptoms (Dizziness, numbness, brain ticks, bla bla bla..) Things did get better *SLOWLY* over time.
Almost two years later I felt good enough to get back into the gym and exercise. I felt great and lost about 12 pounds. Problems started when I tried to gain muscle weight. I started feeling depressed, lack of energy, and finally i ended up with severe headaches. One continuous headache lasted over a month and a half! I also noticed previous symptoms coming back. It's weird that I am having the exact same symptoms as before, almost verbatim. How can this be???
I have read on a few boards that SSRI's can get stored in Body Fat/Brain Tissue. So if they get re-released into the bloodstream (by losing weight) it is possible to get the same symptoms again... and again. Is this really possible??? I have to believe it because it's the only thing that makes sense to me right now. I'm hoping it is that, because if not then it's something really bad. I've been up now for almost 5 days straight with no sleep. Sleep aids aren't doing squat and Doctor is no help. Already had 2 MRI's and 2 Cat Scans. They show nothing of course. Although the $6000 bill was a nice Birthday gift from my crappy insurance company.
I'm beginning to wonder if I should make a will. If I don't get help soon I'm going to end up dead.
Please help if you can!
