new to Cymbalta

Posted by phillipa on November 11, 2004, at 16:53:42

hello, this is my first post since following this thread since the beginning. I want to help , but I need feedback from anyone who has had positive results from Cymbalta. I have been on 60mg for 2 weeks and feel anxious, depressed and can't sleep, but haven't had the intolerable side effects (bad ones)that have occured with other antidepressants. How long before I should know if this is the right one for me?

Hi, I have been on Cymbalta for about 6 weeks and have posted several times. If you do a search for my name I think you can read the posts and see my experiences so far. I am happy with Cymbalta and have found most of the side effects have gone away after the 5th week. Good luck and let me know if u can't access my previous posts.

i have been on cymbalta for nine weeks now. I am at 60 mg. and i have to say that most of the side effects (weren't many) from the beginning are gone now. It took a lot longer for the cymbalta to kick in than it has for me on other a/d's. I am happy i stuck with it now as i feel pretty good and plan on staying with it.
