I have chronic fatigue. Effexor made me much more sleepy. PDOC prescribed Provigil but I have not yet tried it.

Good luck,
dazed

I find Effexor very energizing!!!

Especially on dosages 150 to 225mg. When I was titrating up, I felt very sleepy on both 37.5 and 75mg. I don't know how I kept up with my 3 young children before I started taking it.

Best wishes,
Colleen

Hi Donna,

Sounds mostly like symptoms of depression to me. Effexor is helpful in getting me out of bed & enjoying life but it hasn't done anything for my apathy.

Cheers,
Paul.
