yes, i was on it for a while (long story why i went off-my own doing, not docs) but...it worked very well for me- i even quit smoking.
i'm hoping to eventually go back on it...but my new docs doing the waiting game right now. (less meds the better i guess).Hope it works as great for you!

I take 300mg of wellbutrin xl a day with effexor xr 225mg for depression, GAD and panic attacks.
The wellbutrin definitely complements the effexor in tackling the depression, but it makes me into a "scrabbley rabbit" all jumpy, by the time I go to bed.

Helps me. Generic SR 400 mg. Smoke half or less than before. Cuts down on my caffine intake. It has a happy antidepresant effect too. Sort of like a bright day.

I tried adding 150mg of the extended release wellbutrin to my 75mg effexor over the weekend. I think it made me a little more jittery, but not too bad at all. I was hoping it would help with the sexual side effects of the effexor...it only did a little. Has anyone else noticed it helps with libido, etc? If so, did it take time to kick in or did it work right away? Just wondering if I should keep trying it.

The wellbutrin really helped me with lebido, maybe you should give it several weeks. I don't think one weekend is enough time for it to build up in your system. As for depression, I think maybe I need to go up beyond 300mg, because I have been depressed quite a bit lately. -L
