3:00 AM zero sleep.

Posted by linkadge on October 6, 2004, at 2:28:03

I think Its time I maybe went back on lithium. I don't know what's happeneing to me.

This simester is gone.

The sinequan initially made me drowsy, but later woke me up boiling hot, mind racing, and heart racing.

I don't know what to do.
Don't know if its mania or serotonin syndrome.
The lorazepam really calmed me down though.

Perhaps I should go to the hospital.

I think that you should go to hospital. From your previous posts, you really have been having a time of it. I think you must be so worn out already.

Sleep deprivation is just the worst. I really feel for you.

Hi Linkadge,

How much Sinequan are you taking? You probably need at least 25mg before you start getting any 5-HT2A blockade, that'll get your overheating under control.

Cheers,
Paul.

Neither! It is more likely intense anxiety and/or a nasty panic attack.

May be just to reassure you, yes it worths it!

You're younger than me. And i've had the same symptoms at your age. If i were you i would avoid at all cost all norepinephrine based medications.

- Valproate and Tegretol made me very depressed and zombified.

- TCAs were really bad too. Anxiety, irritability, anger burst, etc.

What helped me:

- SSRIs/SNRIs -> Paxil, Celexa and Effexor were/are really good. The others are way too much stimulating, but i didn't try Lexapro and Cymbalta. Moderate dose is prefered.

- Lithium -> almost essential. Therapeutic level is prefered: 0.6 to 0.8 mml.

- Atypical APs: low dose only. Moderate to high dose = blunt emotions and dead of our thoughts.

- Rivotril is your friend. Take it on a daily basis. A godsend in crisis periods.

- Lamictal. Not yet for you.

I gave you some clues. Now you may write it down on a paper and beg to see your pdoc asap.

Good luck!

Yah, man! I think you should go to the psychic ward and let them fix me. You will get a lot of close attention, to your ailments.

I'm trying one more thing before I go to the loony bin.

10mg celexa, 10mg sinequan, and loads of fish oil.
If it doesn't work, I'll go

I said this in another message, why not try zyprexa. Its a realy strong anti-psychotic, which I think could realy work for you. It has for me, its my solution to most of my illness.
