Does anyone have any experience with molindone (moban) I am schizoaffective and my doctor is trying it - to replace navane and risperdal. Any ideas

I have not tried moban, but my pdoc recommended it also. I would be interested in knowing how you resond to it if you chose to try it. As I understand it, moban tends to normalize your weight and is not overly sedating.

Hi,
I was unaware of this one. It may be an option in the future for my son. Zyprexa and Zoloft are working but with side effects. Weight gain and trouble swallowing from 15mg Zyprexa, Acne which can be partially controlled with antibiotics, from his 75mg Zoloft. We are always looking for alternatives though.

The info I have read on the web so far today about Molindone looks encouraging. It might be worth trying.
