Newly Dxed BP/ Seroquel Help?

It's official. After over a year of having Depression, my new pdoc and psychologist say I'm Bipolar.

I recently came off Topamax, and ever since my moods have been fluctuating a lot. My pdoc says I may need a mood stabilizer. He incresed my Seroquel back to 200mg. He says it's been newly approved as a mood stabilizer for mania.

Has anyone had any luck with Seroquel as a mood stabilizer? If this doesn't work I may have to try Depakote, and I don't want to.
