Is it possible for a norepinephrine heavy drug to be somewhat sedating? Just curious as it seems to stimulate in most forms.

I found both nortriptyline and Strattera to be sedating myself, and they are both norepinephrine selective reuptake inhibitors. However, so are both desipramine and protriptyline, and I found neither of them to be sedating. Obviously, there must be additional effects at work beyond the issue of blocking norepinephrine reuptake.Todd
