3 weeks ago I missed my 75mg Effexor XR daily dose, as I had ran out of the repeats on the script and could not afford to goto the Dr and get another script. I didnt notice any difference from not taking the medication. I started it again 2 days ago. Should I have felt side effects? Is something wrong?

Well, a similar thing happened to me when I was on 75mg and I forgot my pills for a weekend and the nightmares were the worst thing ... I just didn't want to go to sleep because I was too afraid of them.
But see,now I've been off Effexor (from 300mg) for a week and I feel fine .. I think my Celexa is masking all the side effects.
Withdrawal is different for all people, some people have it really bad, some don't ... you might be one of the lucky ones.

Hey, I've noticed very vivid and sometimes disturbing dreams from medication withdrawal. Some people also have flu-like symptoms from withdrawing (dizziness, tiredness, muscle aches, nausea).
I wouldn't necessarily take your nightmare or 'flu' to mean that you need to keep taking the med, though -- if you felt great after being off for 2 weeks, you may not need it anymore.

Well I'm back on them now as i said, as I feel like they're one of the only things the keeps me balanced. Maybe smoking as much weed as I do helped the withdrawl? Cause I had very bad withdrawl symptoms when I cam off aropax and ciprimal

Hi, The first time I missed several doses of an SSRI I thought I coincidentally came down with the flu! Those withdrawal symtoms - esp. with Effexor - are just like the flu. Going off Efexor I was vomiting, dizzy, light headed, nauseous...etc..
